I haven't been very creative this week. I had to fly down to Seattle and help my daughter drive back to Alaska. It was a horrendous trip due to the winter storms that hit Seattle and British Columbia. It has been 22 years since I drove the Alaska Highway and I did it in winter that time too. One day I'll drive it in the summer!!!
I've got some catching up to do this coming week - I missed a week of school so there's homework, I have two round robin dolls sitting here and who knows what else!
This little cafe was in the middle of nowhere ... I found the sign funny ... click on the image to really read it ...

You can see the rest of the photos at my PIcturetrail album .. although we didn't stop to take many photos. We drove, and drove, and drove ....
Wow- what a trip! I am so glad you are back home safe and sound. I missed you. Great pictures, by the way.
Hugs-

I'm just glad you're home! It's lonesome without you! And, does that snow ever look pretty! WOW!
Posted by: Kai at December 3, 2006 3:13 AMI love the pictures. I'm jealous of all the critters you saw. Why no pictures of the moose? Please name a moose after me if you see one again. I'd love to drive the alaska highway but unlike you I'll stick to summer. One day I'll visit Alasaka. Looks likea dream.
Posted by: maryellen at December 3, 2006 8:29 AMHey Judi! I'm glad you made it home safely! We were all concerned about you, and missed seeing all your creative output here on the blog. I hope you'll have time to get caught up on everything now.
Posted by: maryo at December 3, 2006 6:25 PMBeautiful pictures, wow! But cold, I'll bet. My cousin has lived in Barrow for many years and I just can't figure out how she deals with it.
I can tell that I have a lot to look through at your site...I'm going to adventure through!
Nice to meet you.
Posted by: Lisa Gatz at December 4, 2006 1:57 AMHi Judi,
So glad you are safe and sound back. You girls are really brave to drive back all the way home in terrible weather conditions!.
But also looks like you had some spectacular eye candy to see. Thanks for sharing some of those with us.
