What a mess - my fabric studio / sewing room

Painted into a corner
Now that I've got the headdress class finished with I have to clean up my studio. To me this is a mess .. there's lots of little 'stuff' that has to be put away. None of it goes in the same place either. You can tell how I work from these photos - I paint myself into a corner. I don't put things away when I'm done working with them so I end up with very little working space.

Same with the cutting table

The absolute worst is the cutting table. I never have any room to cut anything! I have permanent piles on it, LOL. You can forget ironing too! I left these photos full size on the server so you can click on them and see everything. I love looking at people's studios and seeing what they have. Enjoy!

Oh - good news - my brother (my blogmaster) has loaded a new anti-spam program so now EVERYONE can leave messages without having to use fake emails addresses and best of all ... NO MORE MATH!!!! Whoo hoo!

I love your room and it looks like you have been busy creating...

No worse than mine. Lucky you have space to spread your mess around. I don't have that much space and so each project sort of gravitates towards the room it prefers LOL! The present doll is being done mostly in my hubby's study rofl!!

I'm JEALOUS! Like Shashi, I don't have anywhere NEAR that space, and as a result, my projects follow ME around. I do most things on a piece of junk I call a 'desk' in the living room. Your studio looks GREAT!

Looks like my work area when I get on a roll with projects, this is how a creative persons area should look, my dh just keeps his mouth shut but I can see the look in his eyes and I know it kills him, he is such a neat freak when it comes to a work area.

Add me to the list of messy people....in my studio. It looks much like yours, only worse. Add a sculpting table to the mix and a few more odds and ends and you've got it! Whatever yours looks like, I always love what comes out of your studio!

Your studio looks clean and organized compared to mine! I hate having my studio a mess but can't seem to discipline myself to put things away as i am working.

I'm so glad I clicked a link that brought me here! Your dolls are adorable...stunning...delightful... And your messy room? Well, let's just say it doesn't hold a candle to my soap room (aka dining room and kitchen, in which there is no place to sit nor cook unless you'd like soap for dinner.)

I got a chuckle out of your mangling and tormenting those poor ebay dolls, rofl!

Hee hee! My sewing room, since we've returned from the states, looks like a bomb went off in there. ewwwwwww! So before I can start any project, all the stuff I brougt back from the USA needs, read that as HAS TO, be put away. Want to come help me?
LOL.

I wish my studio was that organized!! :-O I'm a little challenged in that area and have trouble finding what I need.

What a lovely room. You've even got pictures on the wall! I haven't an inch of bare space on my walls in my room. I could do with a bubble in the 4th dimension to stow some of my stuff.

I had an organized mess myself. It always gets that way when I'm working on a project. I had to finish a couple, and post the pic on the internet, then made myself clean. It'll be a mess after the next quilt, but, oh well, life goes on....smile
