Check this out ... the one on the left is the face I made as I demo'ed face sculpting and painting in the class down on the Kenai. I'm amazed at how alike they are - I actually followed my own instructions, LOL. Sweet!!!!
Awesome, just plain awsome.
Posted by: Sandra Walker at June 28, 2007 5:31 PMYou surely DID! They're both really pretty, too! I think they need a story. Long lost twin dolls, separated when their mother gave (sewing) birth much earlier than expected, right in the middle of a conference class, & a student - longing for the doll she knew SHE couldn't produce, STOLE one and raised it as her own. Then, many conferences later ... well, you'll just have to buy the book. Bwahahahahah ... sorry - you inspired me.
Posted by: Kai at June 28, 2007 5:34 PMWOW! How'd you do that?! I'm following your instructions and still can't get two that look alike!

Posted by: Auntie Linda at June 28, 2007 7:03 PMYou ALWAYS do pretty faces -- you know I love your dolls! BUT... these have HAIR!! Really pretty hair too. How'd you do that?? I may have to give up on my infatuation with mohair and alpaca if these are the yarns available to be played with nowadays... COOL!
