Somebody's junk is now my treasure
Okay, I know that's not how the saying really goes but it works for me. At doll club the other night my friend Karen gave me a bag of old screw-on earrings. The backs on these are usually glued on so I think if I use my heat gun I can melt the backings off instead of trying to cut them off. The earrings will be great for decorating headpieces and who knows what else!
Those will be great to use as embellishments! I have been eyeing some of my old jewelry that I don't wear anymore. Thinking they should begin new lives as embellishments-LOL!

Aren't you lucky. They will be great for all sorts of things, embellisments, charms, etc etc. and I am sure you will think up something entirely new to use them for.

Even at 400% magnification I can't *quite* see the picture on the little painted earrings in the upper right... are those shepherdesses? Neat-O! They look an awful lot like some of my grandmother's Bakelite.
