My sock monster drools. He really makes a mess so I figured I'd better do something quick. I made him some baby bibs. He's quite happy with them and I think he's going to get rather upset when the grandbaby borrows them.
I found the pattern on the internet but didn't follow the directions. I was rather surprised when I went back and looked at them just now. I guess I made my own version - and wasted lots of bias tape! But, hey, my version went together faster, so there!
Well be thankful your daughter wants to use them, couldn't get Emmy in the old fashion mode roflol!!
Just a hint my mother made them with velcro not sure about how to spell that word LOL
They sure are cute tho...
Great bibs! WONDERFUL monster! You KNOW I love your Plushies & sock-type critters!
Posted by: Kai at February 10, 2008 8:38 AMHey they look pretty cool. My DIL won't use them, she says they look tacky. Tacky or not they go along way in keeping things from bieng stained.
Posted by: sandra walker at February 10, 2008 9:39 AMcool bibs, I'm sure my dil would love them but NOT!!! I did my good granny stuff at Christmas, LOL!!

from you. Have been going through your archives exploring diverse subjects you used to do. These animal puppets are really juvenile and boring. Don't mean to burst your bubble, but your continual creativeness was a reason I always checked to see what you're up to.
good job baby...
