I am making domino magnets to sell at the craft fair. Here's the first dozen that I've finished. These are full sized dominos (last year I sold mini's). I'm not sure how much to charge for them though - $3 or $4. What do YOU think?

They are awesome. You are sooo good at these and I know they will do well in the craft fair. Hope you can sell for a good price.
Posted by: shashi at November 15, 2007 10:16 PMoh Judi they are truly awesome- and I would love to be able to be at the fair cos I would get them all- wot about splitting the difference girlfriend?? They should certainly walk out the door no matter wot you charge but be happy with your price wotever you do charge it would be horrid to price them to low if u know wot I mean??
love n hugs n general confewsion Bear xoxoxoxo
I love them but haven't a clue about the price, but good luck with your show and hope you sell lots!!
Posted by: kerry at November 15, 2007 11:51 PMOh, they look great - love the images. I reckon at least $4.
Posted by: Dianne at November 16, 2007 12:16 AMI'm like Kerry - no idea about the pricing. Except by ACCIDENT - LOL! - I never sell my things, so I know I'd underprice if I were to try. THAT'S because I realize buyers often don't have a CLUE what goes into the cost AND time of creating! As a result, they'll often think a REASONABLE price is too high. These magnets, by the way, are MORE than worth $4! They look awesome!
Posted by: Kai at November 16, 2007 1:48 AMI LOVE them, Judi. I'm terrible at pricing, but I would say $4. I think they're worth more, at least $5, but I don't know if people would buy them at a higher price.
Posted by: maryo at November 16, 2007 6:13 AMJudi, they are all beautiful , do they have magnets on the back if so at least 4.00 if not I say 3.00 I think you would sell them to people for their use in other projects.I am in love with those stamps the prettiest I have seen..put a cord and bead on some and sell for 10.00 they are well worth it..like Linda F did to my charm..why not have a variety fixed different ways and that way you will see which ones go faster..I love them all..
Posted by: Jacque at November 16, 2007 6:36 AMI have know idea about pricing. But these are wonderful works of art!!!
Posted by: auntie Linda at November 16, 2007 6:45 AMI'm selling mine for $3. I don't know how the shows are priced where you are, but around here, even though they get a lot of oohs and aahs, they wouldn't sell for more.
Posted by: JudiA at November 16, 2007 6:45 AMBeautiful! Sorry, I don't know about pricing. But, I did notice the background is paw prints!
Posted by: Hana the Dog at November 16, 2007 8:52 AMThey're beauties. I think $3 and $4 are way too low. Try $5 (which I think is still low) but a nice amount. People shouldn't flinch at passing over a $5 bill to get one of these. You know how some people think there's something wrong with an item if it's priced too low. Good luck at the show.
Posted by: Lemon Tree Tales at November 16, 2007 9:18 AMOh My!! They are gorgeous!!! Too bad I am another one of those who doesnt really know about pricing!! Best advice I ever got was --dont start low --as then you cant go higher..If you start high --you can always come down some-- and people love it when they get a good deal!! BOL jandee
Posted by: jan demetralis at November 16, 2007 11:47 AMHi, I think you are too low. How about $5. each with a set of 3 for $12.
You could also have the option of having holes in them for hanging or little tiny hanging screws.
You could offer them one way, and charge a little extra for special wants,
They could be used for so many things. on boxes, jewerly, cards etc. etc. Yours are expecially nice. and with the special domino
stamps,they are getting a bargin.
hope this helps a bit. hugs, SandraJ
I saw something like this a week ago in Galveston, Tx Art convention for art teachers. However, they were necklaces and sold for 12.00 1 hole on the top (middle)with ring to hang from chain and two at the bottom to hang glass beads. like the one that has art on it. very cute.... one more thing they were selling like crazy..???how do you transfer the image and what do you use for protective layer?
Posted by: cynthia smith at November 16, 2007 7:33 PMI bought one drilled for a necklace for $8 and it wasn't anything as nice as yours look to be. Go higher. I thought I got a bargain.
Posted by: Muncy at November 16, 2007 8:01 PMHi Judi,
I see you have a beautiful brand new grandbaby! Congratulations!
I love all of your wrestlers. Love your Northern Mermaid. She has a beautiful face and I love the fur and costume too. I think your Conner is adorable.
As far as the domino magnets are concerned, you should price them atleast $5. If it is a 2 day fair and then you could adjust the price for the next day. Just my 2 cents. Good luck. Hope they sell like hot cakes!
Happy Thanksgiving.
Hugs...heera
