More on photography

Linda asked me to post photos of a doll with the new lighting set up. So I did a kind of before and after thing. You can see the extra lighting gets rid of nearly all the shadows. I think it might be a bit clearer too. Odessa will be going to live with Linda in Florida. Lucky girl.

Impressive, Judi! That should motivate me to get serious about lighting! Love that little old doll too!

Yes it does really make a difference. Amazing what just a bit of good lighting and background can do to photos. By the way the doll is very cute.
I have been avoiding typing as I seem to have got something embedded in one of my fingers which has been hurting. For the life of me I can't see any splinter but I am sure there is something. Well it will show up in time will have to wait for it to start getting red!

First of all, you did a fabulous job on Odessa's Dream. She was one of my favorites to design. Next, you are absolutely right about lighting. It makes such a difference and also the angle makes a big difference in how your doll is presented. She's darling! Keep up the good work.
