Just have to share two mermaids that Vee and Maggie made ... they are too cute hanging out on their ice floe together! Vee's mermaid is called Arora and she is on the left and in the single photo. You can see more photos of Arora at Vee's blog. l I don't know what Maggie named hers. I get a huge kick out of seeing what people do with my patterns! These Canadian mermaids rock!

Hi Judi, I love these mermaids, your patterns are fab. I can't wait to try making one. I know that when I make my first doll it will not be my last. I bet the fun part is the dressing and giving them personality with their faces. Belinda
Posted by: Belinda at February 11, 2008 5:17 PMThey're wonderful! Vee's link didn't work tho'. Phooey! And, by the way, dolls made from your patterns turn out well because the patterns are so well written! You know I MEAN that - I've said it over & over!
Posted by: Kai at February 11, 2008 6:47 PMwow they are beautiful. Your pattern is lovely so I am not surprised. You must be proud of them.
Posted by: shashi at February 12, 2008 12:03 AMhahahha....that is funny to see our gals on somebody else's blog!
Thanks so much for putting the pattern out there Judi.... it was a generous offering for the price of the magazine. We had great fun making her and I definitely plan to make another.
