Look what I got !!!

The good queen
Oh my gosh - take a look at this beauty - she came in the mail today from Kate Erbach. We traded dolls. I think I got the better end of that deal! This is the first swap I've done in years and I couldn't be happier. She is named The Queen of Hearts. She's stolen mine, that's for sure! Thanks, Kate - you're the best!!!!

You should see the paper doll she sent me also - it's a hoot! I'll take a photo and try to post it tomorrow. Kate is a multi-talented artist and I'm so glad I've met her through the net!

!@#$%^&*()!!! If I had EVER received anything half so nice in a swap I might reconsider my blanket ban on them. Every dollmaker out there considering becoming a swap partner should take a good long look at this splendid piece and consider whether or not they can even begin to compare! I wouldn't have minded beginner work -- but what absolutely destroyed my faith in the "niceness" of doll makers was the total CRAP I received in return for my best efforts from ... um... people who should have known better. I have always thought Kate was awesome, and now I REALLY know it! Wowzers!

Kate ALWAYS goes above & beyond in ANYTHING she does! I am awed by her talent, her generosity, her sheer KINDNESS! This, your Queen of Hearts TREASURE, is marvelous! What a beauty! And I am guessing that YOUR doll to Katie was equally wonderful, my friend!

I DID receive an awesome doll from Judi. One of her fabulous Stump Sisters, actually I requested one of them. I've wanted to swap with Judi since I bought one of her altered domino necklaces 2 years ago. I am a happy camper.

What a great doll and ATD that Kate has made for you. It is fabulous just like Kate! I love doing swaps and have only been disappointed a few times.

Beautiful work,

I am with Judi A on trades, but my gripe is I send out the doll and don't receive one in turn.
