Home from my holiday

Acapulco - Barbies

I had a fabulous time on my cruise but it sure is nice to be back home where my bedroom doesn't pitch up and down every night. Soaked up the sun, drank cappucino coladas, did a lot of sightseeing, and didn't really miss my sewing machine at all! Here are a few altered Barbies that were being sold as souvenirs at a 'flea market' in Acapulco. There was a fabric shop right across the street from the market but although I wandered through I didn't buy ... I am trying to keep to my promise to myself not to buy any more fabric. So far, so good!

Coooool, those mermaid-y Barbies! Hmmm ... fins DO cover a multitude of flaws, don't they? (Not that BARBIE has to worry about HER ever-perfect thighs.) I may have to adapt the look. What do you think? Is the world ready for a mermaid-y Kai? GLAD you're home! I missed you each day! Sounds as if you & Loren had a great time, tho', and I'm going to keep checking for details!

Oh the B's!!!!! They always show up when least expected.
Glad your back can't wait to see what inspirations you got while on Vacation.

Aw, come on! Surely you took better pictures on your trip than the tacky altered Barbies??? LOL! Like hunky bare chested native guys??

Lucky, lucky, lucky you! I hope you were careful about the sun and the banditos in the hills.....I was kinda hoping for a bandito or two but it never happened... did you go to the topless beach there?
