Domino book

Anyone ever go see the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the midnight show at the movies? Where everyone dressed up and interacted with the movie? I have really good memories of doing that (uh, except dressing up - I didn't do that - although I probably would have if I could). Today my movie soundtrack came in the mail and, although it is very strange, it just makes me happy. I can't believe I remember most of the words to the songs! My husband ran out to the garage when I started blasting it. I love Tim Curry!!!!

Today I had to make a domino magnet for a customer and since I had the dominos out I figured I'd try one of those domino books. Pretty simple to make. I used watercolor paper for the accordian book part - painted it with metallics and interference paints. My friend and I are supposed to start going to water aerobics so I made this for her.

HI I love this little book it is so gorgeous, I adore the beads. Sound track sounds great and boy I'd love to try water aerobics but I can't swim so get a bit scared in the pool, big sook that I am lol.Belinda

I never have seen Rocky Horror all the way through... am I a disgrace to our generation, LOL?

The domino book is a delight. I've never seen anything like that before, and it took me a while to figure out exactly what I was looking at, but it's NEAT. Hmmm... I still have some dominos left...

I loved the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
We used to go all the time to see it.

Hi Judi! This is Carol Murphy- I taught the "Domino Mini Book Class" at Joggles this past January. You were in my class, right? I love how you added the beads at the ends of the tassels- very pretty!

No, Carol - that must have been another Judi. I saw Tim Holtz make one on his Altered Journey DVD and I just kind of did my own thing with this one.
