Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there! I'm having a nice quiet day today and later the girls and their families will be coming over for supper. Should be fun. Haven't posted much lately but I have been quite busy. I have been working on writing my next online class - just have to finish one more chapter. I started a new class yesterday down at the yarn shop - learning to knit socks. At first using four little knitting needles was very awkward but it's getting easier as I go along. I have new canvases to make my collages for Linda's class over on Doll Street (the last batch had rips in them when I opened the package). Plus I have been working on the clock doll. This is the box she will be built around.

Hi Judie
I hope you don't mind but I have used your Stump sisters Dolls as an example for inspiration on my soon to be launched craft and art challenge blog. Obviously mentioning you and with a link to your page.
We will be looking for guest designers in the near future and I would love you to be one of them in the future. You would recieve some samples to play with and obviously new people introduced to your blog and work
.If you don t want me to use you as an example of an inspiring artist then please e mail and i will remove your pic

To sponsor a challenge you provide a prize which could be both of your doll patterns free for the winner, and one of the patterns for the design team of which there will be three although if you were guest designer and sponsor you could just use one of the dolls you have made as an example and provide the two regular designers with a pattern.
If you are interested in either being a guest designer or a sponsor please e mail me
Tracey
This looks very interesting waiting to see where you go with this
Posted by: shashi at May 12, 2008 1:33 AMThe box looks great! I'm hoping to get some stuff started (and finished) pretty soon. My cold has finally gone away, and I found a book on using fabric scraps creatively, so perhaps it'll actually happen.
Do you ever feel like you don't quite have the right to claim the title of crafter, simply because you never have any time to get things DONE? Or can ideas at least allow one to say they have a creative mind?
Posted by: Cindi at May 12, 2008 2:24 AMCOOOOOOOL box! You are a master at the very artsy creations! Looking forward to seeing her finished. And I hope the migraine has GONE or at least abated! Those are MISERABLE!
Posted by: Kai at May 12, 2008 10:56 AMI hope your feeling better and that nasty migraine went away fast!!!
This is going to be another one of your fantastic pieces! Can't wait to see it finished!

I was just looking at your WIP of the clock/doll that is what terrifically beautiful ass on the box. Where do you get stuff like that?
