I received my second round robin doll the other day. She was waiting in the mailbox quite patiently for me to get home from fishing. Fiona is a very small, flat, desert fairy from Arizona. She spent some time in Oregon before she came up here. It's going to be interesting to see how everyone approaches the journals. The journal that came with Fiona is kept in a diary fashion. So today she got to know some of the creatures that live in my house. I took this picture to put in the journal - the larger fairy is mine - that's Hailey. She's protecting Fiona from the big old bear. I think I'm going to be the shoe lady on this round robin - Fiona is going to get a pair of mukluks to wear. I tried to make her some fur boots today out of some wolf scraps but she's too flat for them - they looked really funny on her. So instead I'll make a fabric boot and add a strip of fur and ribbon along the top.
Wolf fur???? Should I even ASK where you got wolf fur? Now fishing is ONE thing - pulling quills out of 'porkies' is another. But are you also de-furring wolves, you pioneer woman? LOL! Or did you just whistle and call, "Here, wolfie, wolfie! Shed me a little fur; I need doll boots! Good boy!" I know - you're going to cyber kick my butt when we IM later. Sorry. I needed some silliness after last night's weather. UGH! I love your fairy! She's absolutely gorgeous! Glad to see another Flat Stanley. Was wondering how some more of them look! Also think the bee was adorable! Later!

We would take our coats off and there would be this bright red strip of flesh between the top of the boot and the bottom of the miniskirt from wind and snow damage. Man, I loved it when the maxi skirt came in - I was the first one out the door to buy a gorgeous black princess line maxi-coat with matching scarf, hat and mitts. And mukluks!
