I am so pleased with this new eyeglass caddy! I am always leaving my eyeglasses in odd places - so we'll see if I actually use this or not. The whole torso is the eyeglass holder - you make it out of cardboard - it is even bowed like a proper eyeglass caddy. Love the colors - I used three different checked fabrics and accented everything with orange and lime green. Funny thing is - those bloomers? They were in the 'brights' drawer - already sewn up - the size was right - all I had to do was add the orange cuffs to them. Never throw anything away, LOL. A really odd combination but it works. I left the tassel on her head completely intact because I might hang her from a shelf, don't know yet. I think I am going to name her Marigold. Another project done! Whoo hoo!
OH my judi she is wonderful loveeeeeeeeeeeee those colors and wowzer look at that face...wohoooo you make me proud...OH MY
Posted by: Sherry Goshon at August 9, 2007 4:44 PMWOWEE!!! I knew you had a "thing" for orange, but you sure let it go this time -- my grandma always told me it was my favorite color when I was little, but I never believed her then. It's becoming more of a possibility now though. Is that silk?? It is so luscious it looks positively edible! Those checks...! That GREEN...! I am forever misplacing my glasses, but I would go out of my way to find this girl (even though I can't see worth a hoot she would be findable, LOL!)

still trying to break free of the blue/green/purple thing...
Brilliant! Oh, she is so gorgeous! I love, love, love that leg fabric, too. You never cease to amaze me.
And like JudiA...I can't break free of the blue/green/purple thing either.

She is absolutely stunning. I think she is my favourite. Her face is so beautiful. You don't have to worry about your flat faces now. You are brilliant with them.
Well, my vision may be increasingly WORSE, but THIS beauty I can SEE! Judi, she's FABULOUS! The colors just make me so HAPPY! And the name Marigold suits her wonderfully! Makes me REALLY glad I bought this pattern, too! (Sigh - I just hope I can see to MAKE it! LOL!)

As to some ones comment on colors.....My favorite as a child was Pink, I now love Purple! Not even close to pink.
She's adorable. Great color choices/patterns. I like the slight head tilt, hair across one eye and her hands patiently folded. Too cute!
