This next photo shows what else I did this weekend. We put up nearly 40 cans of wild Copper River red salmon. Each can holds about 1.4 lbs. So that's a lotsa salmon! Gotta love the artistic filters that come with Photoshop Elements. Plain old cans are so boring to look at!

You made me giggle. Love the brides terry dress...be careful you may start a new trend...oh like the hat too. Is there a Cannery some where near you...or do you do that canning at home?
Posted by: Auntie Linda at July 29, 2007 8:21 PMThis is becoming the summer of weddings for you, isn't it? You are going to be exhausted when the last wedding is over.
Love the photo of the wedding procession-LOL! You are a hoot.
Lovely to see all the beauties in procession. How colourful they look
Posted by: shashi at July 30, 2007 2:30 AMI love the picture of the dolls Judi! Too Funny! Looks like they are commenting on her lovely new hat!
What a job the canning must have been! Nice stash of Salmon!
Posted by: nita at July 30, 2007 3:03 AMI can see why you would have weddings on your mind! I would be a basket case by now! But the dolls are cute, even the "wedding gown" and I love the hat. That's quite a batch of canned salmon. The cans look big!
Okay, so you knew SOME smarty pants would HAVE to say it. In the draped towel with the plastic head covering, your doll is NOT going to a wedding - but to a wedding SHOWER. Bwahahahahaha ... ooops. I'm outta here!
(Love the tute on using plastic to form the faux hat! Thanks, Jude!)
Posted by: Kai at July 30, 2007 7:38 AMDarn it -- Kai stole my joke, LOL! There just *something* about a bad pun... All that salmon makes me hungry for seafood too. What a lot of work that must have been!

Posted by: Gail at July 30, 2007 1:12 PMYou're right! It does look like a procession - I was just at a wedding yesterday, too. Love the idea of covering the head with plastic and molding the hat right on the head -- it will always fit that way.
